WordCo Incorporated is a rapidly expanding Commercial Contractor based out of Wilkesboro NC specializing in Commercial Masonry and Structural Steel Erection. With multiple projects running at any given time from Coast to Coast and completing over 40 large scale projects three and a half years, and as always we are endeavoring to expand our operation. This requires the hiring of strong work crews and dedicated office personnel with proven work experience to fulfill our goal of being the most respected name in our business. Requirements: The qualified applicant will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years experience leading crews as a Superintendent on Wal-Mart's, Lowe's, Target's, Costco's and like kind fast track Commercial Masonry Projects. Travel is MANDATORY!
Recommended: Bilingual is preferred with over 5 years experience with big box retail buildings including Wal-Mart, Target, Lowe’s, Costco’s or large Shopping Center work. Also, any Commercial experience is a plus.
Duties: Duties include oversight of 24 man crews (10 masons, 10 laborers, and 3 operators, 1 foreman). Responsible for laying an average of 3000 block a day under normal working conditions. Superintendents coordinate the field work and keep communication open with office personnel including the projects manager and quality control director. Must possess strong problem solving skills to handle unforeseen difficulties. Must possess strong organizational skills to keep workflow productive throughout the course of the project (6-8 weeks). Time off every other week.

Benefits: Competitive wages- Wage Rate varies depending on experience. Steel
Erection Crews generally work about 15 - 20 hrs per week overtime with every
other weekend off.
